17 images from the sacrifice project will be on display at gaffa gallery during the headon photography festival in sydney, from 18th to 29th November.
This will be the first ever public exhibition of the portraits and stories from the project. This major milestone is the result of a very fruitful collaboration between artist William, the HeadOn Festival Team, Gaffa and most importantly, Neot Solutions, who curated the exhibition. None of it would have been possible without teemendous support from Neot Solutions, Gladstone Regional Council, the Queensland Government Arts Queensland and the team at Photopia Studio.
"Vivian Malo - Collingwood, VIC, February 2021", taken from the SACRIFICE series, has been selected as a finalist for the HeadOn Portrait Awards. This portrait of activist, community radio DJ and breast cancer survivor Vivian Malo will be exhibited with the other finalists at Paddington Reservoir Gardens from 19th November to 29th November.
